Firm Early Construction was established in 2009 by Phumzile Silindza with the purpose of manufacturing and supplying high quality building materials to the construction industry. Since then we have become a multi-disciplinary construction company focusing mostly on Government infrastructure and selected private sector projects.
Firm Early Construction is a 100% Black Woman Owned (BWO) company. As an assurance for accountability and professionalism to our Clients, we have registered with
the highest statutory and regulatory bodies in the South African construction sector. We are a proudly South African company that embodies fully the aspirations of our Government to meet
its employment creation and poverty alleviation goals.
Firm Early has adopted a zero harm approach with regards to SHEQ. No urgency of work is worth substituting a life approach is our key strength in SHEQ practice.
All our sub-contractors, consultants and personnel are mandated to comply to this policy irrespective of their size or BBBEE status. Firm Early is 100% behind the OHS Act 85 of 1993, we ensure that its guidelines are adopted from the top to the bottom of our structure with clear leadership guidelines which stipulate and customise overall SHEQ objectives to the Clients satisfaction and to that of our internal systems and commitment to improving SHEQ systems performance. OHS Act 85 of 1993 provides for the health and safety of persons at work and for the health and safety of persons in connection with the use of plant and machinery.
OHA 130 of 1993 provides for compensation for disablement caused by occupational injuries or diseases sustained or contracted by employees in the course of their employment, or for death resulting from such injuries or diseases; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
